Chiadi Ndu
Chiadi Ndu was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1987 but she boldly followed her passion for mental health and earned a Doctorate degree in Psychology. She has since trained with various global institutions including the Beck Institute of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and the Institute of Counselling Glasgow.
In 2012, she founded BTH Integrated Wellness and Therapy, and since then has delivered over 20,000 hours of professional counselling and psychotherapy. Her work has supported employees across multinational organisations such as MTN, ExxonMobil, Total, UBA, Andela and more, through partnerships with global employee assistance providers including CiC (UK), Life Assist (South Africa) and Workplace Options Inc.
Chiadi is also a powerful communicator. She has hosted the radio programme Behind the Heart on Inspiration FM and City FM Lagos, written as a guest columnist for Sunday ThisDay, and contributed to BellaNaija using stories, dialogue and insight to teach cognitive restructuring, emotional regulation and interpersonal relationship skills.
A firm believer in holistic wellness, she trained at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (New York) and integrates nutrition, lifestyle and physical wellness into her therapeutic practice.
Currently based in London, Chiadi works with Mediserve Ltd as a Counselling Psychologist, providing culturally sensitive therapy for Sub-Saharan African communities in the diaspora. She is a Director at Broadlands Residential Home in Nottingham UK and previously served as Counselling Coordinator at Brent Carers Centre, London.
She is a member of the Nigerian Psychological Association, the American Psychological Association, and a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society.
